## How Is the Spanish Telecom Market Structured?

Four **mobile network operators (MNOs)** own physical spectrum in Spain: **Movistar** (Telefonica), **Vodafone Espana**, **Orange Espana**, and **Yoigo**. ## How Is Telecom Regulated in Spain?

The [CNMC](https://www.cnmc.es) supervises telecom competition and pricing in Spain. Number portability runs through the **ICP-Referencia** code, issued by your current operator when you request a switch; the switch itself completes within 1 business day of a 14:00 cancellation cutoff on the prior business day.
